Trolling with Hins Cheung 張敬軒 (2005)

When I was 8 years old, Hins Cheung invited 4 children from my church to be his backup singers for his song Blessing. Hins is a Chinese Cantopop singer and songwriter in Hong Kong. I haven't even heard of him before he invited us to his recording studio.

Afterwards, we received his CD. On it it says, "Dear (my Chinese Name), thanks for your help! Wish you a "quick growth" (it's common for grownups to say this to children in China). Work hard your studies!"

Here is  the Cantonese and the English version of the song Blessing! :D

A few months later, this song won an award and everyone in our church was invited to perform at the awards ceremony (勁歌金曲). Sadly, all the clips have been deleted from the Internet... but here's a pic we took in the TVB headquarter!

My favourite songs from him include Dear U , a mandarin song written by Hins himself, and dedicated to his aunt who died of cancer. Another song, called 酷愛 (in English, it's something like Passionate Love) has won loads of awards and since this song became known to almost every living soul in Hong Kong, Hins has gained fame every since.
